I’ve lived and worked in this area for over 8 years now, moving here when my husband was posted to the area (he’s in the RAF). I studied part-time at DMU and went on to do the LPC in Leicester. It’s now my adopted home town! I love football, Kilmarnock being my team but I clearly now follow Leicester City. In my spare time I enjoy going to the football, reading, going to the cinema, drinking cocktails and walking my two crazy Labradors.

I am a Litigation Officer for E.ON (the energy company), representing the company in debt recovery proceedings from issuing a claim to appearing in Court. I studied at De Montfort University completing the LLB in 2009 and the LPC in 2010. Like many other graduates I struggled to find a job in the industry, but after joining E.ON in June 2013 I took the opportunity to join the Legal team last year. I now have the chance to pursue my ambition of qualifying as a solicitor through the alternative Legal Executive route, and bring a different perspective to the LJLD!
